Congressman Cole Named Hero of the Taxpayer
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Cole has been named a "Hero of the Taxpayer" by the Americans for Tax Reform. Each year Americans for Tax Reform issue their annual ratings identifying elected officials who support a pro-taxpayer agenda on 20 issues facing Congress. To be given this award, Representatives must receive an 85% or better ranking on the Americans for Tax Reform scorecard. Congressman Cole received a 100% on the Americans for Tax Reform rankings.
"It is an honor to receive this recognition. I believe that hard working Americans should be able to keep more of their income. I also believe that this year as we are working through budget issues we can solve all problems without raising taxes," Congressman Tom Cole said.
