• Robert E. Lee A Life by Allen C. Guelza
  • Allen Guelzo neither idolizes nor damns Robert E. Lee in this nuanced and insightful portrait of a great soldier who played a complex, checkered and controversial role in the history of America. The man is certainly worth knowing and this superbly written book is well worth reading. -TC
