Cole Congratulates 2022 Military Academy Appointees
Moore, OK – Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) recently congratulated five students who have received and accepted military service academy appointments. The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy all require a congressional nomination to be considered for appointment. Cole previously nominated these students for appointment consideration in December.
"After having the honor of nominating them for potential appointment last year, I am delighted to congratulate the Fourth District's own Prestley Gabriel, Makayla Hall, Luke Howard, Trevor Lorenz and Trae Stewart for receiving and accepting appointments to attend one of America's esteemed military service academies," said Cole. "While these young leaders could pursue numerous career paths, they chose to answer the call to serve our nation with their talents and intelligence. This is indeed a true testament to their patriotism and character. Their selfless desire and willingness to answer the call to serve our country is commendable and certainly makes their families, friends, communities and our state proud."
The students from the Fourth District of Oklahoma who received and accepted appointments are listed below:
