Cole to Host Summit with Oklahoma's Energy Experts

WASHINGTON - U.S. Congressman Tom Cole (OK-4) will be hosting an energy summit Friday at the National Weather Center in Norman. During the summit, Oklahoma's energy leaders will offer their perspective on the current gasoline and energy crunch and discuss their role or their company's role in the state's future of energy security. All members of the media are invited to attend.

The event will be attended by dozens of community leaders from across the Fourth District. The following topics will be discussed by major industry representatives: nuclear energy, wind energy, natural gas, switchgrass, and oil, among other things.

In addition, Cole will be available to speak individually with members of the media from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the National Weather Center prior to the summit.
