Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement after voting in favor of the Fiscal Year 2025 Homeland Security Appropriations Act:
“Today, I voted to deliver on our constitutional duty of keeping Americans and the homeland safe. Resources in the Fiscal Year 2025 Homeland Security Appropriations Act are directed to target the Biden Administration’s crisis at our southern border and support our brave Border Patrol agents and officers. Additionally, this bill makes critical investments into removing dangerous criminals and countering the spread of illicit fentanyl. We must prioritize reversing the Biden Administration’s radical open-border policies, as well as protecting our communities from the threats that have arisen due to these policies,” said Congressman Cole.
