Washington, D.C. – In an effort to make natural gas more affordable to American families, Congressman Tom Cole today introduced legislation aimed at increasing the supply of domestically produced natural gas.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Cole announced today that the Energy and Water Appropriations legislation passed today in the House included over $17 million in projects for Oklahoma.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Cole spoke in favor of H.R. 4517, the Refinery Revitalization Act of 2004 on the House floor today. This legislation which, provides incentives to increase our nation’s refining capacity for gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil and jet fuel, passed in the House, 239-192.

Washington, D.C. – To build upon the work of the Speaker's Natural Gas Task Force, Congressman Cole has been appointed to the House Energy Action Team (HEAT) by Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

Washington, D.C. – Today a House-Senate agreement on a comprehensive national energy policy was debated on the House floor. Congressman Cole voted for this bill that passed in the House, 246-180.

Washington, D.C. – Today Congressman Cole reiterated the need for increased reliance on domestic energy to decrease price volatility and ensure affordable heat and natural gas prices now and in the future.
