Washington, D.C. – Today, the Chairs and Ranking Members of the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies sent a bipartisan, bicameral letter to Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia regarding DOL's acknowledgment that more than one million dollars in funding for the Apprenticeship Grants program had been inappropriately obligated.

Like many others across the nation, my family knows all too well the heartbreaking decline that takes place in those suffering with Alzheimer's. During the last several years of my father's life, my family watched helplessly and with heavy hearts as a lifetime of memories disappeared for him through the various stages of the disease.
